keep calm, and trot on

Trinket's Story

Trinket – the little Welsh pony – was  never really around humans and very little is known about her past.  When she went into her first rescue and placed at her first foster home, she wouldn't let people near her.   Her fosters worked with her for about a year until she was able to be touched and pet.  She then moved to a second foster who continued to work with Trinket on ground work and was even able to get a bridle on her!   However, she was now with the rescue for over 2 years, with no luck being adopted.   A couple of people showed interest but once they found out her size and age they backed out.

With Pepper nearing the end of her journey, we knew we would need a companion for Mira.  When we heard Trinket's story, we knew it had to be her. Best of all, she has the same colouring as Mira, so its like her very own mini-me!

She is now 14 and boy does she have a lot of spunk.  Shy at first, but has she come out of her shell.  She absolutely LOVES people and cookies and her favourite activity is rolling in the mud.  Trinket is super curious and has to check out all her farm friends.
