The Long-Haggerty Animal Care Foundation
is Committed to...

our mission
  1. Compassionate Care:

We believe that all animals, regardless of their physical characteristics, are sentient beings deserving of our compassion. Our mission is to provide them with the highest standard of care, addressing their physical and emotional needs.

  2. Promoting Inclusivity:

We work tirelessly to challenge stereotypes and biases associated with farm animals based on their looks. We aim to foster an inclusive society that recognizes the intrinsic worth of all animals, appreciating their unique qualities.

  3. Advocacy and Education:

Our foundation is dedicated to raising awareness about the distinct challenges faced by animals and advocating for their rights. Through educational initiatives and public campaigns, we seek to change perceptions and attitudes towards these animals.

  4. Rescue and Rehabilitation:

We collaborate with animal rescue organizations and sanctuaries to provide a safe haven for farm animals that have been neglected, abandoned, or mistreated. We are committed to their rehabilitation and providing them with loving forever homes.

  5. Promoting Sustainable Agriculture:

We support and promote sustainable and ethical farming practices that prioritize the welfare of all farm animals, regardless of their physical appearance. We work with farmers and consumers to create a more compassionate and environmentally friendly food system.

  6. Community and Support:

We believe in building a compassionate community that values the well-being of all animals. By fostering collaboration and support among individuals, organizations, and businesses, we aim to create a network dedicated to the welfare of these animals.

We are currently seeking funding to obtain a larger acreage so we can provide care for more animals in need.
